The Wildcats' second- and third-leading scorers shot a combined 2-for-19 Saturday at Madison Square Garden...and won. That result does not happen for ordinary or even good teams. It can only happen for exceptional teams that have multiple ways to win games.

Irish poet Eamonn Wall has been named the Villanova University 2014 Charles A. Heimbold Jr. Chair of Irish Studies, the university announced. Very cool news for the university. And yes I find this cool because I minored in Irish Studies while at Villanova, studied abroad in Ireland, and have a lot of Irish heritage in my family. Deal with it!
