The Sun's Arizin: Villanova Wildcats news and links for January 24, 2014

Daily Villanova Wildcats links, today featuring recruiting nuggets, selfies, and fouling at the end of games.

Happy Friday to all? Do you ever have one of those moments where you don't realize how much you've missed something until it's gone? That happened last night when just as I really needed the always reliable internet to write this feature, the internet dropped dead. Time Warner Cable blamed the "freezing temperatures" (let's be real it's still in the teens) on the issue, but still no resolution. So that's why this is dropping later than usual.

Also, small programming note: no recruiting roundup today. I've thrown a few nuggets in below but we've got too much content being hammered out by the staff the past few days, and a new FanPost by Corollary dropping today. I guess this is a good probelm to have.

And now, "the news."

We're still the only offer for Lamar Stevens, who is looking more and more like our top local priority in 2016. Really happy he got to see Monday's game up close and personal. Do you think Wragge shot one from his lap?

Sometimes it's okay to foul at the end of games to try to cut into a lead. Sometimes it's not. The second one seems to be happening a lot lately.
