The Sun's Arizin: Villanova Wildcats news and links for January 6, 2014

Daily Villanova Wildcats links, today featuring Lowry's fan having a bad day, the scouting report on Divincenzo, and a Fran McCaffery blowup for the ages.

Happy Monday, 'Nova Nation! Welcome yourselves back to the Top 10 (in the much more important AP poll at least) when the come out later today. History tells me to be wary of our road trips up I-95 this week, but this is a Villanova team that has me bordering on arrogant. When they're clicking, they're very hard to beat.

And now, the "news."

Kyle Lowry's fan is robbed of Lowry's shoes | Deadspin
This guy is just so casual and so smooth. Boom, one shoe. Boom, two shoes. Turn around, hey what's up. Peace out. Lowry even tries to throw the second one around the interceptor to make sure the guy in the jersey gets at least on of the shoes. No dice.

Scout's take: Donte Divincenzo | ESPN ($)
It's an In$ider article, but Adam Finkelstein has made it know that he's a huge fan of Donte and thinks he's going to shoot up the rankings in the next year.

Former Indiana C Luke Fischer will transfer to Marquette | SBNation.com
The former Indiana center is headed to play for Buzz Williams. He was a Top 100 player out of high school but wasn't playing much at Indiana. With Marquette losing Davante Gardner and Chris Otule, this is a nice win. However, their problems are squarely in the backcourt.

Strong crane kick from the ND bench on this one. Your move, Henry Lowe.

Iowa head coach Fran McCaffery ejected for bumping official (VIDEO) | CollegeBasketballTalk
Fran McCaffery is notorious for having one of the most vicious tempers in all of college basketball, and he lived up to it on Sunday night at Wisconsin. This is one of the better blowups I can ever remember.
