Arguably, the greatest honor bestowed on any high school basketball player in the country is to be named a McDonald's High School All-American; Villanova's two signed recruits for the Class of 2014, Mikal Bridges (Great Valley HS, PA) and Phil Booth (Mount St. Joseph, MD), are among the nominees.
Players were nominated by coaches, athletic directors, principals, and the McDonald’s All American Games Selection Committee. The final team will be announced on ESPNU during the McDonald’s All American Games Selection Show on January 29th.
If selected, they would join the following Wildcats who have been given the honors.
