Villanova will be playing 4 regular season games in New York City this season. Tickets for one of them, the Jimmy V. Classic on December 9th, against the University of Illinois Fighting Illini are on sale now via a pre-sale.

Wildcat fans interested in the Madison Square Garden doubleheader can head to TicketMaster and use the code SOCIAL (thru Wednesday 10/15 @ 10a ET).

Tip time from New York City is set for 7pm ET and will be broadcast on ESPN. The second game will feature the Louisville Cardinals and Indiana Hoosiers.

This is the third time that 'Nova has participated in the Jimmy V Classic. The 'Cats lost toTexas in 2008 and to Missouri in 2011. Villanova is 3-3 all time agains Illinois, winning the last meeting in 1988.
