FCS college football rankings, week 12: New Wildcats at the top, Villanova inches up to #6

North Dakota State's 33-game unbeaten streak come to an end over the weekend as the Bison lost 23-3 to Northern Iowa. With that, New Hampshire are the Top 'Cats of the FCS ranks at the #1 position following their  41-14 trampling of Rhode Island.

Villanova used their win over Towson to improve their position in the polls as the Wildcats inch up to the #6 spot as the previous #6 McNeese State lost to unranked Stephen F. Austin.

The CAA now features five teams in the top 25. In addition to the two Wildcat squads in the top 6, Richmond dropped to #14, William & Mary at #24, and Jame Madison rounds out the poll at #25
