Huuuuuuuuuump Daaaaaaaaaay! In case you missed it, Payton Pritchard will be committing on Monday. For the past few months I've been of the opinion that Pritchard would be a great point guard to bring in behind Jalen Brunson and Phil Booth. With Tyus Battle looking less likely with every update and Rawle Alkins continuing to blow up, I've felt Pritchard was essential to the 2016 class.
I'll just say it now - as of this post I don't think this is going to go Villanova's way. Pritchard has said for the past year that he was going to commit before the basketball season started, but the timing doesn't feel optimal for Villanova given the recent visits to Gonzaga and Oklahoma.
But what the hell do I know?
