Daily Villanova links.

Bill Streicher-USA TODAY Sports

Happy Monday, you guys! Now that I've finally calmed down from Saturday's heart-through-your-chest win over the bad guys who wear orange, I realized how little Christmas shopping I've actually done. So I'll be spending the better part of today doing that.

One more out of conference game tomorrow, and it's a quick turnaround from Saturday (so hopefully no let down) against NJIT. Keep an eye out today for news on Darrun Hilliard and his concussion. I'm leaning towards playing it safe and holding him out as a precaution, even if he is cleared. You'd think the team could handle the Highlanders without him.

And now, the "news."

Honestly, Iowa St. gets all the transfers. Does Fred Hoiberg even bother bringing in his own recruiting class? I need to know this.

It was a great atmosphere for a game, but for good reasons the AN guys can't see the Marquette athletic department ever doing this ever again.

Montrezl Harrell throws punch during Louisville-Western Kentucky scuffle, ejected | SBNation.com
No excuse for this kind of crap. The ACC has already suspended Harrell for the Cardinals' next game against Cal State-Northridge, but he'll be back in time for the big game against Kentucky.

Brad Stevens and the Celtics are in it for the long haul | SBNation.com
So sorry, Indiana. You won't be getting Brad Stevens.
