TGIF, 'Nova Nation! I'm hanging around in Atlanta this weekend searching for my future home with my future wife, so once again I may be MIA on Saturday afternoon. I'll be there in spirit, and if that isn't good enough, imagine me sneaking away from my fiance in the middle of the day, turning off my cell phone, finding a bar, and yelling at the TV.

Villanova has shown a lot of toughness and resiliency this season. Both were quite apparent in their double overtime win at Providence.

Villanova will look to return to its winning ways on Sunday, Feb. 23, when the PCats play host to the Georgetown Hoyas. Tip-off at The Pavilion is set for 1 p.m. The game can be seen live on Fox Sports 1.

Men's Track Ready For Success at BIG EAST Championships | Villanova University Official Athletic Site
For the fifth time in the last seven years the BIG EAST Indoor Track & Field Championships will be held at the New York Armory, with competition beginning on Friday morning and wrapping up on Saturday night. Villanova has had an outstanding season to this point and looks ready to have across-the-board success at the conference meet.

Wildcats to Play in Spartan Baseball Classic This Weekend | Villanova University Official Athletic Site
At the Spartan Baseball Classic this coming weekend Villanova will be in familiar surroundings. The four-team tournament is being hosted at Marty L. Miller Field, a team that the Wildcats have previously visited for a three-game series seven times. In addition to facing the host Spartans in the final game of the tournament, Villanova is also scheduled to take on Buffalo and Quinnipiac during the second weekend of the 2014 season.

The days of fielding groundballs in a gym, hitting in the cage at the Pavilion and pitching off a portable mound will soon be in the past. On Friday (Feb. 21), the Villanova softball team will hit the diamond and open its 40th season in program history when the Wildcats travel to Ft. Myers, Fla. to compete at the FGCU Tournament.
