The newest AP Top 25 Poll was released on Monday and Villanova has improved to #6 from their #9 spot last week. The Wildcats didn't set the world on fire last week, but the squad solidly defeated conference rival Georgetown as well as Temple en route to a 4-0 Big 5 record.
Syracuse (21-0) is the nation's new unanimous #1 after previous poll leader, Arizona, lost at Cal.
The Big East is also represented by Creighton at #12.
