After a trip to sunny Paradise Island this season, the Wildcats will next move on to Brooklyn. When they take the court for an early-season exempt tournament in November 2014, it will be as a host team for the Legends Classic.

That means that they will host two "regional round" games on November 16-20th and will be automatically advanced to the semifinals in Brooklyn. The semifinals and finals are staged at the still-pretty-brand-new Barclays Center arena -- the home of the Brooklyn Nets and soon New York Islanders hockey as well. It is not yet known which of the other semifinal "hosts" Villanova will be paired up with.

The final two rounds are scheduled for November 24th and 25th, which are the Monday and Tuesday before Thanksgiving.

The other host teams will be the Michigan Wolverines, VCU Rams and Oregon Ducks. Michigan, like Villanova, won it's conference this season and is ranked in the Top-10 of this week's poll. VCU is also ranked this week at number-25, while all of the participating schools are likely to be included in this year's NCAA tournament.

The Legends Classic is entering its third year at the Barclays Center. Prior to that, it bounced around a number of venues in New Jersey, from Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City to the Izod Center at the Meadowlands.
