NCAA Tournament 2014: Villanova will take on UW-Milwaukee in Buffalo on Thursday

Villanova's path to the National Championship has been revealed. It includes familiar foes UConn and St. Joseph's (PA).

Howard Smith-USA TODAY Sports

The Villanova Wildcats will be a 2 seed in the NCAA Tournament, where they will take on the Wis.-Milwaukee Panthers in the East Regional this Thursday in Buffalo. The game tips off at 9:25pm ET and will be called by Verne Lundquist and Bill Raftery. It will air on TBS.

If Villanova manages to win their game, they will face the winner of the Connecticut Huskies and St. Joseph's (PA) Hawks. Both very familiar to the Wildcats.

The Panthers finished 5th in the Horizon League standings with a 7-9 conference record. The toughest opponent they faced this season was the Wisconsin Badgers in a 26-point loss. The Panthers do not rank in the top 100 in any offensive or defensive category in the nation. Milwaukee won their conference championship to get to the Big Dance. Their leading scorer is Jordan Aaron with 15.0 PPG on 38.7% shooting.

SB Nation will be running a live analyis with Dan Rubenstein as host. Our very own Brian Ewart is expected to join the studio via phone around 8:10pm ET. The show can be viewed below.
