Donte Divincenzo is still over a year away from donning the blue and white of Villanova, but the athletic Delaware guard is already giving fans a reason to get excited for his eventual contributions in the backcourt.
Divincenzo won a state championship with Salesianum High School this season, and while it is abundantly clear that the star guard is the best player on the floor in most games, he shows off a wide range of skills on both ends of the floor - notably his shooting, ability to get to the rim, and his weakside help defense at the rim.
We should get a much better look at how Divincenzo stacks up nationally when the Nike EYBL circuit gets underway in late April. Divincenzo will compete with the Philadelphia-based Team Final program, that also produced incoming forward Mikal Bridges.
Here is the schedule:
EYBL Session 1 (April 25-27), Sacramento, CA
EYBL Session 2 (May 10-11), Dallas, TX
EYBL Session 3 (May 17-18), Hampton, VA
