Happy Monday everyone! Yesterday was fun watching the team set the all-time regular season record with their 26th win with two more games to play while Darrun Hilliard established a new career high with 26 points. It will be interesting to watch Xavier vs. Seton Hall tonight - will the Muskies overlook the New Jersey outfit in anticipation of Thursday?

One thing is for sure - Ryan Saccoman (wherever he is on spring break) will be rooting hard for the Bucco's.

There was a point with 5½ minutes left in the first half of Villanova’s win over Butler the other day where Wildcats guard Ryan Arcidiacono missed a jumper, and the rebound appeared to be heading directly toward a couple Butler guys who had boxed out in the paint. Out of nowhere, he came flying in.

In its first of five games in the Sunshine State over the next week Villanova (2-5) came up one run short in a tight pitchers' duel against Nebraska-Omaha (2-4) at North Charlotte Regional Park on Friday afternoon. Two runs crossed the plate for the Mavericks in the top of the second inning and they stood up for a 2-1 victory.
