The Sun's Arizin: Villanova Wildcats news and links for March 4, 2014

Daily Villanova Wildcats links, today featuring Hilliard breaking the mold, Tyus Battle visits, and how 'Nova stacks up nationally.

Happy Tuesday, 'Nova Nation! How about those Seton Hall Pirates! Those guys are our new best friends for knocking the wind out of Xavier's sails like that. How do we repay them? I'd love to hear your suggestions in the comments - my initial thought is to send them one of Saccoman's Villanova Valentine's Day cards.

Bracketology: Kansas finally cracks the top line |
As March has arrived, it's time for bracketology to become a daily affair. On the final Monday of the regular season, the fourth top seed goes to the Jayhawks team that lost over the weekend, over sliding Syracuse.

Florida holds No. 1, but chaos shuffles Savory Sixteen |
Andy Hutchins, proprietor of Alligator Army, has some not so nice things to say about Villanova. And now I want revenge on Florida even more badly.

The precursor to March Madness is approximately as mad. Let us guide you around the smaller, less beloved brackets of this haywire fortnight, so that you may taste all the regional flavors.

Let's tell the full story of Wichita State's undefeated regular season |
The Shockers completed a 31-0 regular season slate this weekend, but their record alone doesn't give proper context to the team's accomplishment.
