Once again, a close game didn't fall the Wildcats' way.

With 12:49 to go in Saturday's Villanova Lacrosse game against #14 Penn, Kevin O'Neil scored his sixth goal of the season and the spirits were his as the Wildcats had a 4 goal cushion, 11-7. However, over a 6-minute span, the Quakers evened the game at 11 with 2:38 to play.

38 seconds later Joe McCallion would score the eventual game-winner for Penn as Mike Corrado's Villanova squad would fall to 1-3 on the season. In four tight games this season, the 'Cats have yet to consistently find the recipe to win late - with a brutal schedule bound to get tougher, adjustments will be needed if Villanova is going to turn their season around.

Johnny Gallaway and Tim Mulrenan both tallied hat tricks for 'Nova and O'Neil had two assists to go with his pair of goals.

The Wildcats next face #1 Maryland on the road at College Park, MD next Friday. Faceoff is slated for 7p.
