Cotton, McDermott and Christon were unanimously named to the first team by the conference's coaches. Coaches were not permitted to vote for their own players. The Wildcats have five players named to the conference's teams.
Bell, a 6-foot-6 senior guard, was the driving force behind the Wildcats regular season Big East championship. He averaged 14.9 points and six rebounds per game in his final season while leading Villanova to a 28-3 overall and 16-2 record in conference play, the most regular season and conference wins in program history.
The Big East conference will announce Player of the Year, BIG East Coach of the Year, BIG East Rookie of the Year and the BIG East Scholar-Athlete of the Year on Wednesday, March 12.
