The lineup for the 2014 Jimmy V Classic has been announced and it includes Villanova.

Jay Wright's Wildcats will take on the Maryland Terrapins in the first game of the doubleheader that will be held at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday, December 9th. Tip time is set for 7pm ET. The second game will feature the Louisville Cardinals and Indiana Hoosiers. The games will be broadcast on ESPN.

The early December showcase event should provide a nice boost to Villanova's out-of-conference schedule. The game will also feature a reunion between Daniel Ochefu and incoming Maryland freshmen Jared Nickens, who both attended Westtown School.

This is the third time that 'Nova has participated in the Jimmy V Classic. The 'Cats lost to Texas in 2008 and to Missouri in 2011. Villanova is 4-1 all time agains the Terrapins, including a January 2011 victory.
