NCAA president Mark Emmert will testify in the Ed O'Bannon class-action antitrust trial in Oakland, California on Thursday, a source familiar with Emmert's plans said Monday night.

Emily Lipari Named First Team All-American | Villanova University Official Athletic Site
Senior Emily Lipari (Greenvale, N.Y.) was recognized as a first team All-American in an announcement made by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) on Monday afternoon. Villanova received a total of two All-America honors for the outdoor season, with sophomore Angel Piccirillo (Homer City, Pa.) earning second team All-America distinction. Lipari and Piccirillo each competed for the Wildcats at the NCAA Championships in Eugene, Ore. last week and advanced to the final of the 1500 meters.

Sophomore Jordy Williamsz (Perth, Australia) and freshman Patrick Tiernan (Toowoomba, Australia) were each recognized as first team All-Americans in an announcement made by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) on Monday afternoon. Villanova received a total of four All-America honors for the outdoor season, with senior Samuel Ellison (Dresher, Pa.) and junior Elbert Maxwell (Pittsburgh, Pa.) also earning honorable mention All-America distinction. All four athletes competed for the Wildcats at the NCAA Championships in Eugene, Ore. last week.
