VU Hoops World Cup Pick'em

It's the dog days of summer and we have a month-long 32-Team soccer/football/futbol tournament ahead of us: The World Cup. The Copa Mundial kicks off next Thursday as hosts Brazil takes on Croatia and will end on July 13th in Rio.

Whether you're able to dissect the benefits of Jürgen Klinsmann's diamond midifeld for the #USMNT or if you are just a "GO USA" soccer fan every 4 years, we're here.

As a fun way to build the community, we're creating a Villanova Fan "World Soccer" Pick 'em Group on Yahoo (I guess they can't say "World Cup"). It's for fun and bragging rights.

You're able to submit your entry for each match in the Group Stage as a win or draw (and score). It appears you will earn points for correctly choosing the result and points for guessing the score.

In order to join the group

4. ...there should be no need to enter a password...

FAVOR: when you registering your set of picks, it will default your name to something like "Mike's Magnificent Picks" or "Mike's Brilliant Pick Set" try to change that to your SB Nation/VU Hoops username.
