Villanova Lacrosse announces Class of 2018

The Villanova Men's Lacrosse team issued a press release announcing ten new Wildcats to the squad for the 2015 season.

The Class of 2018 features five all-america selections, four all-state honorees, nine all-conference performers and includes a mix of four attackmen, four midfielders and two defensemen. Additionally, the incoming freshmen class features seven multi-sport athletes while eight have earned academic honors during their high school careers.

Head Coach Mike Corrado added, "Our coaching staff is extremely excited to welcome the Class of 2018 to Villanova University. Each one of these student-athletes is exceptional both on the field and in the classroom and we’re looking forward to their arrival on campus."

The Wildcats look to improve on their 6-10 record from last season. A year filled with tough out-of-conference opponents lead to their demise, yet the team does have a few positives to build on including their 9-7 road victory over the 17th-ranked Penn State Nittany Lions. The season concluded with a devastating 14-7 loss to the Denver Pioneers in the Big East Tournament Finals.
