Huuuuuuuuump Daaaaaaaaay! Is there some rule (I feel like there was, and still may be, a rule at some point) disallowing the sale of alcohol at on-campus arenas? Because SMU is bringing in the big bucks with beer sales, and apparently more schools are moving in that direction.
Other than the obvious benefit of more money, there's the issue of pregame binge drinking by the students (and let's be honest, some alumni). I can safely say that I always drank more for on-campus games than at the Wells Fargo Center, because I knew I could get a couple while in the game to sustain a good buzz.
Weigh in on this for me.
