Donovan Mitchell says Villanova visit "blew me away"

That's good news, I think.

Scorching hot Class of 2015 recruit Donovan Mitchell visited the Villanova campus today on an unofficial visit. Afterwards, the 6'2" guard spoke very highly about the school and the VU Hoops program to City of Basketball Love...

"This was my first time, and to be honest it surprised me a ton. It was just amazing, it blew me away for sure. The coaching staff, like I told you, was great; all welcoming. The academics, the academic counselors and everyone I saw were just so welcoming. And the facilities are great, and the arenas, both were just amazing. I could see myself playing there."

Mitchell was offered by Villanova after Jay Wright watched him at the Reebok Breakout Classic in mid-July, and since then it appears the Villanova staff are putting the full court press on the Brewster Academy product in an attempt to find a running mate for the already committed Donte DiVincenzo.

Mitchell will next take an official to Louisville on Friday one of the five schools along with 'Nova who made the Brewster Academy star's Final Five.
