Classified as an "athlete" by recruiting services, Brandon Chadbourn was offered a scholarship by Villanova on Tuesday, and the Bishop Guilfoyle senior made the call to make a verbal commitment last night. Hailing from Altoona, the 6-foot, 187-pounder played quarterback for his high school, but is likely expected to change positions in college.

According to Hudl, Chadbourn reports a 40-yard dash time of 4.46 yards, and could provide an interesting weapon for the Wildcats. His Box Jump highlights show an impressive level of athletic explosion, topping 5-feet relatively easily. With an interesting skillset, he could be deployed in a variety of positions on the Main Line.
He is potentially a very good under-the-radar pickup for the Wildcats. Rivals rated him 2-stars, while 247Sports did not rank Chadbourn.
Chadbourn joins seven other known commitments in the Villanova football 2015 class, RB Jarrett McClenton, DL Bryan White, OL Keegan Sheedy, OL Louie Csaszar, RB D'Andre Pollard, QB Adeyemi Da Silva, and LB Drew Wiley.
