Happy Jalen Brunson Official Visit Day, 'Nova Nation! As news breaks that Chris Silva and Villanova are parting ways, the importance of Jalen Brunson's impending visit has increased enormously. No reason yet as to why things have cooled off between Silva & 'Nova after months of speculation that he was bound for the Main Line, but here's hoping it means that other good news is on the way.

What to Know: The scenario is similar to last season, with Fordham coming off a season-opening 50-plus-point showing and looking to improve to 2-0, and Villanova trying to avoid 0-2. Patrick Tiernan ranked 6th best runner in America |
Tiernan excelled in his first cross country season in 2013, winning the Big East and Mid-Atlantic Regional titles. He was 9th at NCAAs and had a fine track season, running well at NCAAs indoors and out. At age 19, still has plenty of room for improvement, so look for him to make a leap in 2014.
