Villanova was making an appearance on the Main Stage of New York City at Madison Square Garden. The Wildcats were also looking to rebound from their first loss of the season. Jay Wright balanced the need of dressing the part for fashionable Manhattan with maintaining a humble blue-collar attitude to get his team back into winning ways on Tuesday night.
En route to a dominant second half that saw 'Nova defeat St. John's by 18, Villanova's leader continued his pristine look in a three-button, two-piece suit for The World's Most Famous Arena.
Wright commanded the sidelines of MSG with a dark look. Dressed in a black suit with faint striping, Wright sported a french blue shirt and a demure black tie containing thin white diagonal stripes.
He finished the ensemble off with a light silver pocket square.
