Kiwi PF Tai Wynyard to visit Villanova, Texas & Kentucky

Is a decision looming?

report from Adam Zagoria is noting that Kiwi recruit Tai Wynyrd will be visiting Villanova in the next week. The 6'9" Class of 2016 recruit who is "widely considered the next great thing from New Zealand" will sandwich his visit on the Main Line after meeting John Calipari in Kentucky and prior to finishing his North American trip in Austin visiting the Texas campus.

It's possible that a college decision is near according to Zagoria, and right now Villanova is the only school of those three to have offered, although St. Mary's, Pittsburgh and Hawaii have all shown interest as well.

The New Zealand native who attends secondary school in the Auckland area is currently playing with the U19 National Team. He was invited to participate in the Jordan Brand Classic last year.

Villanova has been on his mind and interested since September at least.

And, oh yeah... his parents are World Champion Wood Cutters.
