2015 preseason college basketball rankings: Villanova ranked 9th in Coaches Poll

The first USA Today Coaches Poll for the 2015-16 season has been released and Jay Wright's Villanova Wildcat squad has been pegged at #9.

'Nova, who was selected on Wednesday as the favorites to win the BIG EAST, is joined by Butler at #23 to represent the conference. Virginia and Oklahoma, who the 'Cats will face in the first two months of the season, are also in the Top 10 at #6 and #8 respectively.

Georgetown, Providence, Xavier, and Marquette are also "receiving votes".

The 2015 Villanova Basketball squad finished with a 33-3 record (16-2) and ended the season at #9 in the coaches poll.
