One of the highlights of Hoops Mania is the special artist who performs for the Wildcats and fans in attendance.
Past Hoops Mania performers have included 50 Cent & Tony Yayo (2006), Mims (2007), T-Pain (2008), Trey Songz (2009), Fabolous (2010), Drake (2011), Rick Ross (2012), Nicki Minaj (2013), and ScHoolboy Q last year.
The possible list of entertainers for Friday's event seem to come from a deep pool of hip hop stars who will be in Philly for that night's Powerhouse 2015. That event will feature Kendrick Lamar, Philadelphia's Meek Mill, Big Sean and Fetty Wap. Future, Jeremih, Rae Sremmurd, Omarion, Migos and Jidenna will also perform.

The odds that the Hoops Mania performer comes from that lineup is quite high. Hometown hip hop hero Meek Mill was the favorite, but chances have decreased since he will be getting married to 2013 Hoops Mania performer Nicki Minaj on Wednesday in New York City.
