On the back of his visit to Hoops Mania on Friday night, the Villanova Wildcats have extended an offer to 2018 forward Jalen "Sticks" Smith.

The 6'8" 190 pound forward plays for Mount St. Joseph (Md.) - the same school that sophomore Phil Booth attended prior to coming to Villanova. He's the type of bouncy, rangy athlete that Jay Wright seems to be going after lately. Currently, he's a 5-star prospect ranked 19th in the country (#1 in Maryland) by the 247 Composite.
Smith holds offers from Maryland, Marquette, Miami (FL) and Providence. He grew up a Terps fan, so this will be an uphill battle for Villanova. But there's a long way to go. And he seemed to enjoy himself at Hoops Mania!
