Huuuuuuuump Daaaaaaay! Non-Villanova related today, but I wanted to bring awareness to the situation developing down at UCF. If you haven't heard of Tacko Fall, you will soon enough. He's a 7'6" African import that is a very good student and aspiring engineer at Central Florida. And the NCAA has thus far refused to clear him because of the high school he attended.
Now, hear me out. There are plenty of high schools that pop up as basketball factories and attract top tier talent. I'm sure we can refernece a few here but let's just move past that. This is a foreign player, sending money back home to his very poor family, who likely listened to the advice of his guardians here on the school to attend - where he excelled mind you - and doesn't know anything about college basketball or the NCAA and their guidelines.
Sometimes the NCAA bashing can get over the top, but in this case it's warranted. #FreeTacko
