Villanova's exempt tournament for the 2016-17 season has been announced as the Wildcats will travel to South Carolina to participate in the The Gildan Charleston Classic.
'Nova should be the early favorites for the tournament with a field that includes Boise State, College of Charleston, Mississippi State, UCF, UTEP, Wake Forest and Western Michigan.
That might look like a light field at first, but Mississippi State should come in with a Top 5 recruiting class and a ton of hype with former Pitt and UCLA coach Ben Howland running things and Wake Forest appears to be on the uptick with Danny Manning in charge.
Worst case, you've got a nice vacation to the South just as it starts to get cold up north. Go ahead and book your travel now!
The tournament will be held November 17th, 18th and 20th at TD Arena in Charleston and will be broadcast on the ESPN family of channels.
