The Sun's Arizin: JayVaughn Pinkston will coach high school basketball in Philadelphia

The fan favorite will coach at Episcopal Academy this year while he rehabs.

Huuuuuuuuump Daaaaaaay! Light day in news as Villanova preps in Brooklyn. Marquette scored a big victory (for the second night in a row) over Arizona State last night which should really boost their NCAA resume. Good for them.

The big news is the JayVaughn Pinkston has joined the Episcopal Academy staff for this season while he rehabs at Villanova. That's a good, an unsurprising, move for Pinkston. A serious knee injury can definitely threaten a career, and staying active an involved while adding a resume bullet is great for him. We've already seen Dwayne Anderson off to a hot start in his coaching career - maybe JayVaughn ends up back on the Villanova bench instead of in enemy territory?

And now, the "news."

All missed at least half of the regular season because of injuries, but the Bison were the only one of the three to come through the loss of a standout signal caller unscathed.
