Following a week in which Villanova was blasted by Oklahoma, both teams saw significant movement in the latest college basketball polls. Oklahoma skyrocketed to #3 in both the AP and Coaches Poll, while Villanova fell down to #12/13. The fall was expected for Villanova after the big loss in front of a national audience - they'll have a chance for redemption this weekend at #8/9 Virginia.
Michigan State maintained their #1 ranking, while North Carolina plummeted out of the Top 10 after losing at Texas on a last-second Javan Felix buzzer beater. Oklahoma, Purdue and Xavier are the only other unbeaten teams left in the Top 10, other than the Spartans.
Big East rival Xavier is up to #10/10, while Providence (#14/14) and Butler (#17/18) saw boosts in the rankings. Georgetown is still outside of the Top 25.
