In their first trip to the women's volleyball NCAA Tournament since 1997, the Villanova Wildcats couldn't get past the opening round, as they fell to the Dayton Flyers 25-21, 24-26, 23-25, 23-25 in 4 sets. Villanova finished the season with a 25-9 record, and has taken the next step forward in program development.
What a season by Josh Steinbach and his team - all should be proud and now expectations have been raised for the coming seasons.
