Georgetown Prep's Dage Davis has officially signed his National Letter of Intent with Villanova, the school announced. The 5'11", 175-pounds Davis starred for the Little Hoyas at running back and was one of the top players in the Interstate Athletic Conference heading into 2015, earning a spot on the all-conference first team.
He was notable for his running heroics at Georgetown prep; he ran for 1,434 yards and 16 touchdowns as a junior in his first season at the position, for example. At Villanova, expect him to move to cornerback, but he may also prove useful at wide receiver, where he played as a freshman and sophomore.

For some of the bad moments in 2014, cornerback is a position that is still young and stocked with talent. Jason Ceneus had a breakout season and earned All-CAA honors as he became the top playmaker in the secondary. Trey Johnson is back after an injury kept him out in 2014 - he was a stud as a freshman. Reaves, Logan and Rolle all saw extended minutes last season. Davis will have an uphill fight if he wants to join the rotation in his first year.
Welcome Dage to 'Nova Nation!
