Big East Tournament Pick 'Em: Who Chose Who

The choices are all pretty similar. Except when they're not.

65 people entered the Big East Tournament Pick 'Em. Not a single one picked top seeds all the way through the tournament.

63 have Villanova, the top seed, winning it all. 23 people have the top 2 seeds meeting in the final. Even 14 entries have the top 3 advancing.

The main reason for this abject disregard for chalk picks is that VUHoops readers overwhelmingly felt that Creighton is the favorite against DePaul. Fewer than 25% chose the 7th seeded Blue Demons to win their 9:00 game tonight.

As far as the game-by-game percentages, 63% chose Seton Hall over Marquette, 50.7% chose St. John's over Providence- making that game a true tossup-, and 68% picked Butler to defeat Xavier.

Because of the immense amount of duplicate entries (only 19 have a unique set of picks), I will likely put in a tiebreaker heading into the final round.

For tonight's games, 7 people took Marquette and DePaul, 9 took Seton Hall and DePaul, 17 took Marquette and Creighton, and the other 32 took Seton Hall and Creighton. It'll probably be 1 point that separates the winners, so tonight's game will likely eliminate a large portion of the field from winning.

Best of luck!
