Atlantic-10 Rookie of the Year considering visit to Villanova

According to SNY's Adam Zagoria, Atlantic-10 Rookie of the Year Eric Paschall is considering taking visits to both Villanova and Providence.

The former Fordham Rams guard announced that he was considering a transfer yesterday. Fordham recently fired head coach Tom Pecora following a disappointing season. Paschall, a 6'6" wing, is a former 3-star recruit who averaged 15.9 points per game and 5.5 rebounds per game this past season.

Pecora has a connection to Villanova, as he served as an assistant to Jay Wright during his days at Hofstra before taking over the head gig when Wright moved to Villanova.

Due to NCAA transfer rules, Paschall would need to sit out next season if he transferred unless he was granted a waiver, which seems unlikely given his situation. This would essentially make him a member of the 2016 class, where Villanova is recruiting wings like Rawle Alkins and Lamar Stevens.
