Fordham Rams wing Eric Paschall will take a visit to Villanova next week, per SNY's Adam Zagoria. The Atlantic-10 Rookie of the Year is exploring a transfer following the firing of head coach Tom Pecora, though he has not ruled out a return to Fordham just yet.

The confirmed visit is a nice development, as previously Paschall was reported to only be considering a visit to Villanova. The 6'6" guard would have 3 years of eligibility remaining since he would have to sit out next season, meaning he would essentially join the 3-man class of Jalen Brunson, Donte DiVincenzo and Tim Delaney that enrolls this fall (throw in Mikal Bridges too if you want with the redshirt).
Jay Wright has always looked for balance in his classes, and this would really overload the scholarships in that year. Paschall's size and versatility to play both inside and outside is valuable though, and though Villanova isn't typically a big player in the transfer market, Paschall looks like the type of player that should fit right in to what the Wildcats do.
How this affects 2016 recruiting remains to be seen. With Omari Spellman already committed to Villanova, the staff has been going all out for Rawle Alkins. Paschall and Alkins probably isn't an either/or scenario, but if Paschall were to transfer to Villanova, it throws another guard in to the rotation when the 2016 class gets to campus.
That's a good problem to have.
