'Cats move up to #3 in the Coaches Poll.

Bill Streicher-USA TODAY Sports

The regular season is complete and Villanova with their 29-2 record (16-2 Big East) are poised for the Big East Tournament Conference Tournament in New York City. 'Nova wrapped up last week with a road victory in Omaha over Creighton and a 36-point dismantling of St. John's. Even though previously-ranked #2 Virginia lost to Louisville, Jay Wright's squad has holds at #4 in the newest AP Poll.

Kentucky, the only undefeated team in the country, remains the #1 team in the country with their 31-0 record. Duke and Virginia switched spots ahead of 'Nova. Arizona rounds out the Top 5.

They are joined in the Final AP Poll of the regular season by conference friends Butler at #22 and Georgetown at #23.

Villanova next plays in the Big East Quarterfinals at noon (ET) on Thursday. They will play the winner of 8/9 game between Marquette and Seton Hall.

Ohio State, Providence, and Murray State dropped out of the Top 25.
