In mid-January, five-star forward Juwan Durham talked about making a trip to Villanova. This was surprising, but equally welcome news. Omari Spellman's commitment in February gave cause for celebration, but the general consensus is that a long rim protecter such as Durham would be a great compliment to Spellman.Cue Rivals' Russ Wood with an exciting development.

There's been no confirmation of the visit yet, and it's unclear if Durham traveled to New Orleans for the AAU action since he's sitting out with an injury. Regardless, if the visit did happen, it's clear that Wright is hot after the Florida forward. Making Durham the first visit of the recruiting period says a lot, especially given that he suffered a serious knee injury, which can scare coaches off a prospect.
The Wildcats' deficiencies in the frontcourt have been well-documented, and with Daniel Ochefu on the way out after next season the frontcourt will be in an uncertain state. Being able to pair Durham with Spellman to go along with Darryl Reynolds, Tim Delaney and Mikal Bridges will give Villanova the type of frontline that the roster has never seen in the Jay Wright era.
