2016 wing Lamar Stevens will be visiting Villanova on Saturday according to City of Basketball Love's Josh Verlin. Stevens had been to Villanova's campus several times before given his proximity, but it's nonetheless a positive sign in his recruitment.

The 6'6" guard had mostly been recruited locally, but put up big numbers at the Nike EYBL's season-opening weekend for Team Final. Since last weekend he has added several high-major offers, including Xavier, Maryland, Pittsburgh and Florida State.
Villanova, in addition to Indiana, have been on the 4-star guard for quite some time. The recruitment of his good friend (and high school/AAU teammate) Tony Carr is a situation to watch, as the two have openly discussed playing in college together. Indiana, Maryland, Penn State, Temple and Xavier have all offered both players.
