Two weeks ago Eastern Kentucky hired former Minnesota and Louisville assistant Dan McHale as the Colonels' 20th head coach. Today he added a Villanova connection to his staff as he named former Wildcat Michael Bradley to his staff.

After transferring from Kentucky (where he won an NCAA title as a freshman), the 6'10" Bradley only played the 2000-01 season at 'Nova. In that season he tallied the 10th best season scoring and 19th rebounding in Villanova history and was a 2nd Team All-American. He then played five years in the NBA with Toronto, Atlanta, Orlando, Sacramento, and Philly.

Most recently Bradley has been coaching high school basketball in the Cincinnati area.

Eastern Kentucky finished the 2014-15 season with a  21-12 record, including 11-5 in the Ohio Valley Conference.
