Rising senior Jeff Wiley of Hopewell Valley (NJ) has verbally committed to the Villanova Wildcats. The 6'4" 240 TE/DE announced his decision on Twitter Wednesday night. He becomes the first verbal commitment in the class of 2016 for Andy Talley and Villanova.
Proud to officially announce that I am committing to Villanova to continue my academic and football career! #NovaBound #WildcatWay

Wiley's older brother Drew will be a freshmen linebacker this fall at Villanova. No doubt that the family connection made a difference in the younger Wiley making such an early commitment to the Wildcat program.
Check out Jeff Wiley's junior season highlights below where he plays both tight end and defensive end. Wiley was recruited as a defensive end by Villanova, but his ability at tight end on offense will allow the coaching staff some flexibility moving forward.
Go ahead and welcome Jeff to 'Nova Nation!
