Kevin Huerter, a 6'5" 180 lb. shooting guard out of Shenendehowa (NY) has been officially offered by the Villanova Wildcats. Huerter picked up Villanova interest during a big spring performance with the Albany City Rocks AAU program on the Nike EYBL circuit.

Huerter has gone from a mid-major prospect to a Top 100 recruit this spring - he's currently ranked #97 on the 247 Sports Composite. He holds offers from a host of high-major schools including Notre Dame, Maryland, Iowa, Marquette, Miami (FL), Xavier, Baylor, Creighton and Syracuse - though the Orange have only offered him if he's willing to prep and reclassify to 2017.
Huerter is known as a sniper, but has ball-handling ability as well which makes him a good fit in Villanova's guard-heavy offense. He averaged 13.3 points per game on the EYBL this spring while shooting nearly 44% from 3-point range. Expect Huerter to start taking visits soon, and it's likely that Villanova receives one now that they have thrown their hat in to the ring with an offer.
