Former Villanova Wildcats guard James Bell has signed a new deal with Stade Lorrain Université Club Nancy Basket of the LNB Pro A - the top division in French basketball. Details of the contract were not made available. The club announced the deal on Twitter.

Bell spent last season playing with Vanoli Cremona in the Italian League and started 29 of the 30 games he participated in, averaging 10.5 ppg and 4.4 rpg while shooting 40% from the field and 33% from beyond the 3-point line. The club finished 12-18 on the season.
He'll join an SLUC Nancy Basket club that went 18-16 to finish seventh in the LNB Pro A last season before going out to eventual champions Limoges in the semifinals of the playoffs. They also competed in the Eurocup, where they posted a 7-9 record.
