The Villanova Wildcats have extended an offer to 2017 Woodstock Academy (CT) guard Hamidou Diallo, per ESPN's Adam Finkelstein. Diallo is currently ranked 20th nationally (5 stars) and the #3 shooting guard in the 247 Composite Rankings.

Diallo, a 6'4" 170 pound shooting guard, was being scouted by Villanova as recently as April and currently holds offers from UConn, Louisville, Indiana, Maryland and St. John's among others. Right now, all of his Crystal Ball picks are for the Huskies (perhaps due to the fact that his high school teammate Mamadou Diarra has already committed to Connecticut).
Diallo was impressive this past week at the Under Armour All-American camp, averaging over 15 points per game during the event. Jay Wright as in Charlotte on Thursday and obviously enough of what he saw to extend a scholarship offer.
