Aaron Seigle commits to Villanova

Seigle becomes the second commitment on the defensive line.

Bob DeChiara-USA TODAY Sports

The Villanova Wildcats picked up a verbal commitment when Susquehanna Township (PA) lineman Aaron Seigle committed on June 29th, a source confirmed to VU Hoops. Seigle is the fifth commitment in the class of 2016 for Andy Talley and staff, and the second defensive lineman joining Jeff Wiley.

The 6'2" 270 pound Harrisburg, PA  product plays both defensive end and defensive tackle for Susquehanna Township, but likely projects at defensive tackle/nose guard in the Wildcats' defensive scheme once he arrives on the Main Line. He also held offers from Syracuse, Buffalo, Old Dominion and Bucknell.

Check out Seigle's junior year highlights below where he shows good strength and quick feet to generate consistent pressure in the backfield.

Welcome Aaron to 'Nova Nation!
