Caroline Coyer, Team USA grab silver at Pan Am Games

Team USA and Villanova Wildcats senior Caroline Coyer lost to Canada 81-73 in the gold medal Women's Basketball game at the 2015 Pan Am Games on Monday night. Led by UConn's rising-sophomore Kia Nurse's 33 points, the host nation claimed their first major international hoops championship.

The USA was led by UConn's Breanna Stewart's 17 points en route to capturing the silver medal. Coyer, the Big 5 Player of the Year and First Team All-Big East, played a single minute in the championship and recorded a steal. In three games through the tournament. Coyer will return to Villanova for her senior season. She'll enter her final season as one of the top returning players in the country.
