The NBA Summer League will garner more attention for Villanova fans this year than in previous. After being selected with the 38th pick in the 2015 NBA Draft, Darrun Hilliard will be playing with Detroit Pistons in the Orlando Summer League.
Hilliard's classmate, JayVaughn Pinkston, earned a spot with the Brooklyn Nets' summer squad and will have a greater chance to impress his home-borough's brass as they will be participating in both the Orlando and Vegas leagues.
Maalik Wayns, who left the Villanova program in 2012, will be joining the Dallas Mavericks squad for the Las Vegas Summer League as well.
